I am "The Doxie Whisperer"! We specialize in the care and love of miniature dachshunds. We had two littermate doxies who we loved for 17 years. We now have two littermate doxies that are just over 4 years old. We have experience caring for dogs at all life stages as well as positive reinforcement obedience training. My wife and I both work from home full time. My office is wherever the pups are, usually at our kitchen island, which affords lots of one on one attention, playtime, and potty breaks. Due to dachshund's special needs and being prone to back injuries if not cared for properly, our house has been setup as a little Doxie paradise and safe space. The pups don't have access to any furniture that could be jumped on or off, all stairs are blocked off or gated. The fenced backyard has premium artificial pet turf with commercial shade sails to keep the pups cool in the summer. There's a dog door to the fully enclosed predator proof outdoor dog run with doghouse and shaded cover.
