I'm a lifelong dog and exotic bird owner with extensive experience in animal health, nutrition, and rehabilitation. My experience includes many dogs of many breeds cats and exotic birds also small pest. Over the recent years, I've fostered and rehabilitated numerous (12 or more) dogs in the Dallas area, many of which were placed in loving homes across the country—including New York, Massachusetts, Washington, and Oregon. These animals came to us through city animal control and required time to heal, regular prescriptions ,proper nutrition, and emotional support to recover from neglect and trauma. Breeds I've worked with include Chihuahua, Shepherds, Huskies, and Saint Bernards. In addition to dogs, I’ve cared for exotic birds for over 45 years, including a Myna, a Moluccan Cockatoo, and a Blue and Gold Macaw and various smaller birds such as Blue Front amazons green wings.
